- The transformative Research Area (B) "Life-Nonlife Transition"
organized an international symposium at the University of Tokyo.

- Appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of
Science, Kyushu University on December 1.
JoinedProf. Daisuke Mizuno's Laboratory. - Completed my appointment at the Department of Physics, Tohoku University on November 30 after working inProf. Masayuki Imai's Lab.
- Received the17th Senshu-kai Award for Young Scientistsfrom the Senshu-kai, the Physics Almuni Association of the Faculty of Science, Tohoku University.
- Published a Topics article entitled"Osmotically Driven Cascade Vesicle Division"in Seibutsu-Butsuri (Japanese Language), the official magazine of the Biophysical Society of Japan.
- The Transformative Research Area (B) project"Life-Nonlife Transition"has officially started.
